Hi, I’m Michelle Schoepper, the planner behind Sunbird Travel & Events.
I’ve always been the one organizing adventures — from leading camping and hiking trips for a 5,000+ member outdoors group to being the go-to “vacation planner” for family and friends. I love taking all the moving parts and shaping them into experiences that feel effortless and meaningful.
Here in Mebane, I stay deeply connected to our community. I serve on the Recreation & Parks Advisory Commission (RPAC), where I help support the growth of local parks, recreation spaces, and community wellness programs. I’m also an active member of the Mebane Woman’s Club, where my event-planning skills come to life through coordinating club projects, fundraisers, and community initiatives.
I’m equally involved in my children’s schools through the local PTAs, where I help support events, volunteer efforts, and family-centered activities. These experiences continually sharpen my ability to manage logistics, collaborate with teams, and create events that feel organized, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone involved.
